Become more mature now :P Anyways , there are some errors in the weapons pages ( i've checked all except Special Gear ) . And if you look back at my first few contbs ( contributions ) then it was ; me adding adv and disadv for all weapons in the PvP page ... ALL weapons except special gear type .
Anyways , they got removed by Shaun155 so i simply put them in their respective weps pages and it got changed a bit . So i cant edit anything because only authorized users can do those changes ... so can you change them ? The list is quite long ( minor , some are seriously wierd ) . I gave them to Shadow Mage ( Errors ) .
And uh ... forget about all the crap i've given to the Admins * sheepish expression * . Im better now :P
And ignore some of the stuff i said at the bottom :)
I opened the editor and looked through the code. Nothing seemed to be out of place, so I tried viewing it in preview, and it started showing up correctly again. I've re-published it, and it seems to be working alright, but we should probably keep an eye on the clan portal for a while in case things go screwy again.
HALP , Ammunition , i edited something ( by MISTAKE , deleted it ) .... and now the table is screwed up ( actually it was horrible , but i equalized a bit ... it looks like table instead of before * shudders * ) .
are not helping ....I put {|class="customtable" outside , with |} last ( so every bit of code it included , and hopefully it neutralizes the problem ) .But , eh ... it does not help much . Please help , i know how to code ( little bit ) but i've forgotten almost everything ( HTML , Java , C ... )
And uh , its not really my fault :)
There's something wrong with the Dynamic Page List (DPL) tags on the Clan Portal-- they're not working. All that's showing up is the string of code for the featured clans, and under each clan alignment section is the message "Unknown extension tag "dpl"". I'm currently looking into the problem to see what I can do (I've got a bit of experience working with the extension tags), but unless you or Shaun have practice in fixing code errors, we might need to track down Sovq (since he wrote the original scripts for several of the pages) or contact one of the MediaWiki support staff for help.
I've just finished adding a brand-new feature to the site-- User-Made Polls!
I've noticed that the suggestions for new polls made by users never really seemed to have any attention in the wiki's poll section. So, I've added this new section in for the polls suggested by users on the wiki, in an attempt to actually let the users have a chance to create the poll questions. The first one at the moment was suggested by KwoonTheNope. You can find the new poll section below the site's primary poll section in the sidebar (on the DF Wiki's front page).
Noticed the response you sent to Titanus. Something's making me suspect he either doesn't check his message wall or doesn't even know how to access it. 0_o I just hope I'm wrong in either case.
So I've noticed. He got into quite a lengthy debate with Lady Blue in a thread where Lady Blue was answering a question I asked her. Apparently, he was a bit ticked off over some page or other getting edited out. I'll keep an eye on him. ;)
Stop screaming lol. And welcome back to the DF Wiki.
I think you should keep an eye on the 'Shadow Master Titanus' guy. He seems quite eager to contribute, but from what I see, most of his contributions are... not too good.
My contributions are not too good ? WTF , you do not need 100 reloading to survive ( MINIMUM stats ) in FP .
And least of all , you do not need crowd control weps to survive , i did it with just a chainsaw
( er , the vid is somewhere .... watch " DF Holding Fort in OA Part 2 , by BirdieMaster1 ) .
And check out the PvP things ( adv and disadv ) ... are those contributions good ? And before i edited anything ,
the Outpost contained only " location , difficult , gallery and Loot " and i added
Mission difficulty , loot route ( its getting removed and it has helped people ) , outpost attacks .
How are my contributions not good ? Im a Old One ( been playing since 2D ) so i think i know whether my contributions are good or not , and the minimum requirements for surviving at FP are .. stupid to say the least . ( no offense ) . Keep a eye , whatev but the info i have supplied is not wrong and it isn't " ... not too good " ....
Oh ya , i added this to Loot Route for FP ( the loot route is very useful , for lower leveled players ( and high ones to ) , and i use it daily ( i consider NE-EZ better than SE-EZ ) .
" wakizashi is more useful than katana " .
Check out my acc Spring Heeled Jack , i have a Criss Victor and Wakizashi ( mc'ed ) .... with wakizashi you can do 92 dmg per sec , much more than katana .... anyways - with wakkzashi you can keep on hitting and pushing back a tendril ^_^ ( sometimes a leaper to , but only if you do all critical shots ) .
HALP , Ammunition , i edited something ( by MISTAKE , deleted it ) .... and now the table is screwed up ( actually it was horrible , but i equalized a bit ... it looks like table instead of before * shudders * ) .

However you guys are skilled ( im gonna start learning HTML and such )
And uh , its not really my fault :)
I am afraid not. DF Administrators have no authority on the Dead Frontier website itself. We only manage the Wiki and its users. You should send a support ticket if you feel you've been wrongfully banned.
I did as you suggested and started by trying the site on a few more computers. And, sure enough, just now, I realized that the "hover-to-open" feature is still working on the site, so maybe it was just a problem localized to the other computer I've been using. I've revised my edits to the navigation bar-- Several of the drop-down menu items are now links again. ;)
There's one other thing I need to notify you of: Next week, I'm on Spring Break, and I don't know whether or not I'll be able to access the Wiki (or the internet, or even a computer for that matter o_0).
I might be able to get on a few times next week, but if I don't, I can assure you that at the very least, I'll be back online full-time on Monday, March 11.
I'm gonna check over a couple of pages on the Wiki, and then go loot for a while before I log out.
Insert Your Name Here wrote: You don't need to click the drop down menu to open the list. For Chrome and Firefox, you just need to hover the mouse. If you need to click it, chances are it may be your browser's fault (Blame IE). However, I think the new categories are quite nice. I suggest that the 'portal' links should be reverted back to where they were, but keep the new categories.
LOL that's just it-- I am using Firefox. On a computer with Windows 7, no less. I did notice that the tabs and drop-down menus used to have the "hover-to-open" feature, but about 3-5 months back, it mysteriously disappeared on my end. And I've confirmed that it isn't a browser problem, because I've tried viewing it on both Chrome and Firefox on several different computers.
I'll see what I can do about reverting the 'portal' links to their original location, but I need to point this out: Apparently, the navigation bar has a size limit on how many links can fit into the bar for any given tab. I found that out to my chagrin yesterday when I apparently tried to cram more stuff into the 'Gameplay' tab than it could hold. Even though the code for all the stuff was there, when I viewed it in the preview pane (and tried viewing it by publishing it), the last item in the tab would be missing (in this case, it was either Interiors/Barricading or Maps-- I tried seeing if rearranging the order of the links on the tab would fix the problem, but no dice).
That's one of the reasons why I subjugated the "Inner City", "Aggro", and "Outpost Attack" links into drop-down menus-- there just wasn't enough room to hold it all. ^ ^;
Anyways, I'll see what I can do. Lemme know if you can think of a solution for that little barrier. ;)
