Overview

This build is classified as a hybrid, meaning it takes elements from both a strength build and a critical build. It does a great job of min-maxing each stat to get the most out of them to get a well-rounded build that can handle most situations at a low cost to the user.

Pros

  • Multi-purpose.
  • Cost efficient.
  • Cheap equipment.
  • Scales well into the late game.

Cons

  • Requires a lot of stats.
  • Low endurance in the early levels.
  • Weak for PvP.
  • Hard to follow as it calls for a lot of different stats at different times to be effective throughout progressing it.

Notes

  • The weapons used as examples in this guide are the absolute best you can hold at that level, meaning you can use cheaper options if you do not have the funds.
  • Revolvers can be replaced by Rifles as long as they have a Very High Critical Chance.
  • The Police Officer profession can be switched for any profession such as the role-play professions, but it suggested to stay away from the Soldier, Boxer and Fireman professions due to the wasted stats for this build.

When first starting out, your main source of income will mainly be looting so it's best to start off with your silent weapon. The need for a crowd control weapon (Shotguns in this case) is very low so. You will rarely see hordes of zombies unless in an Outpost Attack or a specific mission zone.

Stats

[Any] Levels 1 - 5: In the early stages of the game, your character moves incredibly slow. Almost every build will have you start off with putting points into agility to help with dodging enemy attacks, especially the quicker ones such as dogs. Here you will put your first 25 stat points into Agility putting it at a total of 50.

[Any] Levels 6 - 10: While most people would continue putting stats into Agility as it's commonly called the most important stat, it is suggested to invest some points into Critical Hit so that our Revolvers are effective early on in this build. Here you will put your next 25 stat points into Critical Hit putting it at a total of 50.

Proficiencies

[Police Officer] Levels 1 - 9: At this stage, you should be putting most of your points into the Pistols proficiency so that you can equip better revolvers. The first 45 points should bring pistols to a total of 60 points. This is enough points to equip a Kolt Anaconda and where it will stay for a decent amount of time.

[Police Officer] Levels 9 - 10: At this point, you should have a solid looting weapon and will begin to invest points into Shotguns. The last 5 points will put Shotguns at a total of 15.

[Other] Levels 1 - 10: If you're not a Police Officer profession, you will be putting all 50 points into pistols to bring it to a total of 55. Meaning the best revolver you can hold at this point is a Webster 1942.

At level 10 it's recommended to travel to Dogg's Stockade.

This is where you should start seeing a need for a crowd control weapon, especially after arriving at Dogg's Stockade.

Stats

[Any] Levels 10 - 12: This is the last time you should need to put points into Critical Hit, which is where the next 6 points will going for a final total of 56. While revolvers need 80 critical hit points to be effective, you will stop at 56 because you will get the remaining 24 points needed from mastercrafted weapon bonuses.

The remaining 4 points will go into Strength for a total of 29.

[Any] Levels 12 - 13: In order to use a shotgun better than a Highlander, you will need 30 strength. So 1 point will go into strength for a total of 30.

The remaining 4 points will go into Agility for a total of 54.

[Any] Levels 13 - 20: Here you will focus on getting your agility as high as you can. The 35 points will put Agility at a base total of 89.

Proficiencies

[Police Officer] Levels 10 - 16: Putting 30 more points into Shotguns will give you the ability to use a Sega-20, this will be a solid shotgun to use up until Secronom Bunker. This would mean Shotgun was at a total of 45 points.

[Police Officer] Levels 16 - 20: Putting the remaining 20 points into pistol will bring it up to a total of 80, this will not open up any potential weapon upgrades but will act as a step towards it.

[Other] Levels 10 - 11: You will need 5 more points to be able to equip the Kolt Ananconda so they will go into Pistol for a total of 60 points.

[Other] Levels 11 - 20: The remaining levels will be spent putting your 45 points into Shotgun so you may weild a Sega-20.

At level 20 it is recommended that you travel to Fort Pastor.

[Any] Levels 20 - 23: These three levels will be used to finally max agility. Put 11 points into Agility for a total of 100.

The remaining 4 points go into Accuracy for a total of 39.

[Police Officer] Levels 23 - 27: You'll notice your pistols are not so accurate, so this is where that is addressed. 17 points will go into Accuracy for a total of 56.

The remaining 3 points go into Strength for a total of 33.

[Police Officer] Levels 27 - 30: Leveling is getting slower and slower, upgrading Strength will help with that by allowing you to equip better Shotguns. These 15 points will put Strength at a total of 48.

[Other] Levels 23 - 30: You'll notice your pistols are not so accurate, so this is where that is addressed. 31 points will go into Accuracy for a total of 56.

The remaining 4 points will be put into Strength making the total 34.

Proficiencies

[Police Officer] Levels 20 - 28: These eight levels are pretty straight forward, you will be maxing out pistols. The next 40 points will put Pistols at a total of 120.

Kolt Anaconda (60 Pistol Required) > SW 500 (95 Pistol Required) > Alpha Bull (100 Pistol Required) > Greyhawk 55 (120 Pistol Rquired)

[Police Officer] Levels 28 - 30: Since Pistols is already maxed, Shotguns will be maxed second. The next two levels will put Shotguns at a total of 55.

[Other] Levels 20 - 30: All 10 levels will be spent increasing Pistols, 50 points will put Pistols at a total of 110.

[Police Officer] Levels 40 - 41: Use these last 5 points to max Strength and starting increasing Reloading. 2 points into Strength for a total of 100.

3 points into Reloading for a total of 33.

[Police Officer] Levels 41 - 46: Here you will be increasing your Reloading to a total of 56 using 23 points.

The remaining 2 points will be placed into Endurance puttings its total at 27.

[Police Officer] Levels 46 - 50: Continue increasing Endurance, it should be at 47 at this point.

[Other] Levels 40 - 44: Continue maxing Strength, 16 points should put it at 100.

The remaining 4 points will go into Reloading for a total of 34.

[Other] Levels 44 - 49: The goal is to increase your Reloading to 56 so you can get more use out of Shotguns and later on Explosives. 22 points should do the job.

The remaining 3 points will go into Endurance for a total of 28.

[Other] Levels 49 - 50: Continue increasing Endurance, the 5 points should put it at a total of 33 Endurance.

Proficiencies

[Police Officer] Levels 40 - 43: Put the 15 points here into Shotguns maxing it out at 120.

[Police Officer] Levels 43 - 50: All that remains to level now is Explosives, all 35 points will be put into that. It's suggested you wait until 40 Explosives for the HK69 before swapping out one of your Shotguns.

[Other] Levels 40 - 47: Continue maxing Shotguns, all 35 points should bring it up to 120.

[Other] Levels 47 - 50: Begin putting points into Explosives, it will only be at a total of 15 so you cannot weild any yet. The first you'll be able to equip is the M79, but it suggested to wait until you can equip the HK69 at 40.

After level 50 you only gain 1 Stat and 2 Proficiency points per level.

[Police Officer] Levels 50 - 103: You will want to continue increasing Endurance, at this point you will be at a total of 100 points in Endurance.

[Police Officer] Levels 103 - 123: You'll want slightly higher accuracy for Pistols, bringing them up to a total of 76 will make their aim reliable on anything that's in view.

[Police Officer] Levels 123+: At this point your build is perfect, you can place the remaing points where ever you would prefer.

[Other] Levels 50 - 122: Continue maxing Endurance, 78 points should max it out completely.

[Other] Levels 123+: You can begin placing your points where ever you'd like at this point. It suggested increasing Accuracy to a base of 76 so that your Pistols can reliable hit targets on screen.

Proficiencies

[Police Officer] Levels 50 - 93: Increase your Explosives to 120.

[Police Officer] Levels 93+: You can begin increasing whatever weapon you'd like from here, the 3 first weapons are the most important but the 4th is up to you. Normally this 4th weapon would be a Machine Gun.

[Other] Levels 50 - 103: Spend these levels maxing out Explosives, they are essential to grinding levels 100 - 325..

[Other] Levels 103+: You can begin increasing whatever weapon you'd like from here, the 3 first weapons are the most important but the 4th is up to you. Normally this 4th weapon would be a Machine Gun.
